A magical quiz game, made for fans and free to enjoy.

Test your knowledge with 1,000 questions, 15 prize levels and three lifelines: Fifty-Fifty, Ask the Audience and Swap Question. Play offline on iPhone, iPad and independently on Apple Watch. There is no timer, advertising, subscription or in-app purchase.

For help, accessibility feedback or a question correction, contact the developer through the Galleonaire support tracker. Please include your app version, device, software version and what happened. This tracker is public: never include personal details, passwords or account verification codes. A GitHub account is required to post.

Playing and settings

Choose New Game to begin. Correct answers advance automatically; an incorrect answer ends the game and explains the answer. You can walk away with your current score. Galleons are fictional game points with no monetary value, not cash prizes.

The Game, How to play, Statistics and Settings tabs provide access to the game and its controls. Settings includes independent music and effects switches, volume controls, individual sound previews and haptics. VoiceOver users activate controls with the standard double-tap gesture.

Saved progress

Closing the app completely ends an unfinished game. Your highest prize, question history, statistics and preferences remain stored locally. iPhone and Watch games are independent; compatible preferences can transfer between your paired devices.

Galleonaire is an independent, unofficial Harry Potter fan quiz, offered entirely free for enjoyment, not to make money. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by J. K. Rowling, Warner Bros., the Harry Potter publishers or other franchise rights holders. Harry Potter and associated names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
