Galleonaire

Accessibility

A quiz designed to welcome players of all abilities.

VoiceOver-friendly play

Galleonaire uses labelled buttons, headings, control values and hints. Answers are activated with standard VoiceOver gestures. Correct-answer feedback and explanations are available as text, separately from the next question. Fifty-Fifty removes the eliminated answers, and Ask the Audience includes each remaining answer's percentage in its accessible label. Decorative artwork does not add extra VoiceOver stops.

Text, colour and motion

Text follows supported system text-size settings. Answer outcomes and available lifelines are explained with words and control states, not colour alone. The app responds to Reduce Motion and Dim Flashing Lights by disabling decorative animated answer effects. There is no question timer.

Sound and haptics

Music and sound effects have independent switches and volume controls. Individual previews let you hear each sound, and haptics can be changed separately. No answer information is available through sound alone.

Testing and feedback

Accessibility is an ongoing part of development. Native UI tests check labels, navigation, large-text layouts and common workflows on iPhone and Apple Watch. Automated tests do not replace real-device testing with assistive technology, and behaviour can vary by device and operating-system version.

Please report an accessibility difficulty through the Galleonaire support tracker, including your device, software version and the steps involved, without personal information. We do not claim certification or universal compatibility with every assistive technology.
